Mystery Flycatcher on Po Toi
This flycatcher was seen early on Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, it appeared to be in a very distressed condition and was hardly able to turn round and look at me even though it knew I was just a few yards away so I didn't get a clear view of its front. It did, however, manage to hop off into the scrub and I lost it.

It has been variously described as Green-backed, Slaty-backed and Mugimaki.

This has now been agreed as a female Mugimaki Flycatcher.
Thanks to Mike Chalmers and Paul Leader for their comments.
