Plumbeous Redstart?
On a family walk this morning on south Lamma Island, I found a bird with a wheatear-like white and black tail on the beach at Tung O. Unfortunately, I only had a small pair of binoculars and the family camera but I managed a few photos.

The bird was flycatching from the rocks and gradually moving down the beach towards the west until I lost it.
Apart from the tail, the rest of the body reminded me of a first winter Black Redstart, except the upper body was more darkish grey than brown. The bird also spread its tail in the manner of a Blue Whistling Thrush several times, as can be seen in the first photo.
Presume this a first winter Plumbeous Redstart? Although it didn't look much like the picture in BoHK&SC. I have not seen one before.

The tail pattern looks either like a female Plumbeous Restart or an immature to me. Though I have never seen one near to the sea side before. :)

I think it was Plumbeous Redstart, probably first winter, on a migratory visit to the sea side.
