Details of the Pui O Outing to be held on 12 Dec 2010 as below:-

Date: 12/12/2010 Sunday
Gathering place: 08:00 Exit B, Tung Chung MTR Station
Time: 8:00 - 12:00
Leader: Dr. Cheung Ho Fai
Target Species: Wintering forest and farmland birds

Free of Charge for all members.
HK$30 for non-member.

I have prepared a drafted list of birds to be seen in Pui O next Sunday.  This is based on the Pui O outing list in 2008 and 2009 at around the same time of the year.  Pui O is very good for common birds, and so this outing is very suitable for beginning birdwatchers.

About 50 joined the outing.  46 species were recorded.  The best birds are the two subspecies of Brown Shrike.  The Peregrine Falcon offer some exercise for those who want to study the ID of Falcon.  Thanks to Ada, Bill and Mon for helping all the way.
