Here are the photos Jennifer Leung took of a Burmese Python with its coils around a Pond Heron on Po Toi last Sunday.








At this point she became upset at watching the death of the heron, to say nothing of being within a few feet of a large python, and understandably left.

My thanks to her for allowing me to show these incredible photos on the website.

These are truly remarkable shots! Some of the most interesting that have been on the forum.

When Jen showed me these pictures, I went to the area immediately and found the feathers where the bird had been caught but the python had already left the scene. I suppose the python would prefer a more private place to swallow its prey.
