Blue rock thrush??

Is it blue rock thrush female? Why the beak look a bit smaller??

Looks like Lesser Shortwing juvenile 白喉短翅鶇 (幼鳥).

This is indeed a female Blue Rock Thrush, they can sometimes be found in urban areas near tall residential estates just like Mei Foo! I had one at where I live a few years ago, they seem to like hanging around the buildings like cliffs they inhabit in the more natural environment.

The bill is damaged, perhaps somehow in the fracas with your cat?

The bird is on the roof of the building far outside my bedroom. My cat just spotted her out by looking and meow next to me when I was still waking up on my bed...

How to see the bill's damage? I thought it look normal?

The lower mendable looks slightly shorter, and the top one looks damage too, you can see it's not sharp as it should be!
