2015-Jan-10, morning, Tai Po Kau
I found it in the Outdoor Study Centre, near the river.
It always calls, (sound: chik.chik.chik..chik.chik.....)
and always moves in the grasses near ground.
Unfortunately, my observation time is less than 2 seconds.
I only saw its overall color was pale brown and not reddish brown.
It has not strong brow and not strong bill and has relatively long tail.
In some extent, the appearance looks like "wing"'s first photo in the following post:
http://www.hkbws.org.hk/BBS/viewthread.php?tid=22611
(However, I remembered the crown was not reddish and not very brown.)
Fortunately, I recorded its sound although the backgroud noise was very strong:
unknown_bird_call_adjusted.mp3 (95.76 KB)
The sound is similar to the sample of "Japanese Bush Warbler" found in here:
http://www.xeno-canto.org/species/Horornis-diphone
That's why I suspect it is a Japanese Bush Warbler.
Am I right?
Thanks for help.
