Thank you for the photos Walter.

Unfortunately we cannot figure out which bird it is. Between April-2021 and April-2024, 12 Terek Sandpiper has been ringed with flag end with "H".

The swollen might be due to infection if the bird get a wound on the leg and dirt get caught between the metal ring and the leg. Base on the above dates we can only know the injury is not recent.

Hope to be able to see this bird again and figure out its identity.
