It seems that the specification is wrong.
HX50V is only 30 times optical zoom (not 50 times)
whereas HX300 should be 50 times optical zoom (not 30 times).

I bought HX300 a few weeks ago, didn't know it has such price reduction so soon.
Its photo quality is ... as expected from its price.
