This is the first Oystercatcher to stay for more than one day. Just the third HK record.

Nice bird and nice photos, but it's 'welcome' rather than 'welcome back' as this is a first winter bird.

I think the first oystercatcher (in 2000) also stayed for more than one day, but most observers were only aware of it on the second day.
