Thanks a lot for the reply, i am aware of the fact that MARSH SANDPIPER, has a very thin needle like bill, long legs (often yellowish). For the comparison i am posting photo of Marsh Sandpiper that i took on 26.03.2011, in this photo you can clearly see the legs are yellowish, but in above said photo leg color is not yellow, that's why i was a bit confused'

I think it is just the problem of light. The leg colour of the first photo looks yellowish (just a bit dark) in my eye.

I agree that the first photo is Marsh Sandpiper. The legs do look slightly yellowish in the photo, but this is not very obvious - I think due to the dull light and the fact that most of the leg is obscured.
Marsh Sandpiper actually has slightly variable leg colour, this may be related partly to age or season. Some birds can have a slight greenish or orange tone to the legs.
