[Oversea] White Goshawks in Tasmania

White Goshawks in Tasmania

White Goshawks
30-12-2011
Southport, Tasmania

I am not quite sure if I am lucky enough to see this rarely seen raptor in the southern Tasmania area in spite of its distinctive white plumage. If it is, I think that I am really lucky as I have only spent one day in southern area over there. The most unluckily thing, however, is that the bird is extremely far away from me and I cannot take a good photo of it.

Could somebody help me to ID this? Thanks.

Regards
Daniel

Thanks Matthew. I am glad that I have watched this white morph because it is the only bird of prey in the world to be entirely white. Lovely!! Thanks to god for such invaluable experience.
