I just use DC to take these photos.

It allows me to have a close approach, so I think it is not the wild bird.
In fact I hope this is the wild one

Yes, it's Pied Bushchat - and you are right to be suspicious about its' origins...

In the wild they don't come closer than Yunnan Province, and all sightings previously have been categorized as "Escapes" - or released birds.
