A determined sunbird
A fork-tailed sunbird descended on a slender branch in front of me at Tai Po Kau in the morning of May 14th. Taking me as a centre of reference he conducted a circular aviation path stopping at strategic locations. For every pause he squeezed his vocal tissue to call out loudly zwink-zwink zwink-zwink. His call was so driven that no other birds would intrude his declared territory.
