Up to two Baer's Pochard have been reported at Mai Po this winter, from 11 December 2012 up to recently, usually around Pond 20.
But I haven't seen any photos.

Does anyone have photos of these birds? Otherwise I will have to ask for descriptions.

PS I am not referring to the birds seen in January to March 2012 - there are lots of photos of these. I am only asking for photos of the birds this winter, from December 2012.

I took these 2 photos, in Pond 20.




And these 2 were taken by my father, WK Chung.

The Baer's Pochard was quite far away from us, also the hot air refraction, the photos are not very good......

We saw 1 on 14-02-2013.
