Lions Nature Centre, Sai Kung 西貢蕉坑獅子會自然教育中心

This afternoon at the Lions Nature Centre near Sai Kung the following birds were seen:

1 Grey-streaked flycatcher
2 Yellow-browed Warblers
2 Black-browed Reed Warblers (in the pond surrounded by reeds near the bamboo grove)
30 Hair-crested Drongos (and a Japanese Sparrowhawk chasing them!)

Seems an unusual place for BB Reed Warblers - just goes to show the value of checking out any good-looking habitat during migration times!

This place seems to be quite a good birding place, but I just had around 1 hour to spend there last weekend at noon, and weekend means there're so many local tourists (and dogs too, on leash though), so the following ones are the only highlights:

Hair-crested Drongo x 1
Red-flanked Bluetail x 1
Greater Necklaced Laughingthrush x ~8-10
Chestnut bulbul x 1
