This is to inform you that WWF will hold their regular annual "Walk For Nature" event around Mai Po on both Sundays, 31 October and 7 November.
"Walk for Nature" is one of WWF Hong Kong's key public outreach and fundraising events in Hong Kong. This annual charity and outreach event aims to highlight the need for conservation of Hong Kong's environment through increasing the public's awareness and appreciation of nature. This year the theme of the event is "Biodiversity – Let’s live in Harmony with Nature"
During the event, the participants will walk from the main car park to the Education Centre, along the footpath between gei wai #12/13, then along the Closed Area Fence and back to the car park. Along the route, WWF will station staff and volunteers at various checkpoints to explain to participants about the ecology and importance of Mai Po.
More information about this year’s event is now available on the WWF website,
event page. If you have any question about the event, please contact either Vicky Fung (
