各鳥友請注意, 受颱風及大潮影響, 米埔自然保護區内各基圍嚴重水浸, 並有大樹倒冧, 路不通行.

明天米埔內各項設施(包括觀鳥屋, 木橋, 浮橋等)全部暫時關閉, 直至本會職員檢查及維修確認安全.

為保障各位的安全, 明天請鳥友暫時不要前往米埔觀鳥. 不便之處, 敬請原諒!

本會將盡快恢復行人路及各項設施, 並通知各位.

Due to Typhoon and the super high tide today, water level in all gei wai in Mai Po are very high at the moment. Roads and paths are blocked by trees fallen down.

All visitor facilities at MPNR (including bird hides, boardwalks and the floating boardwalk) will be temporarily closed until our staff have checked and confirmed they are safe to be used.

For safety reason, we would like to advise birdwatchers not visiting Mai Po tomorrow. Sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused and thank you for your patience.

Our staff will clear the paths and maintain the facilities as soon as possible. Updates will be posted here.

本會已完成安全檢查和初部維修工作，除基圍13至16的木橋外，各觀鳥屋和行人路(包括泥灘的四間觀鳥屋和浮橋)由明天起恢復開放。

另外，由於各基圍水閘在風暴中嚴重受損，因此現時未能調較各基圍水位至適合水鳥使用的高度，謹此致歉。

We have completed all the safety checking this morning. Except the boardwalk from gei wai #13 to 16b, all the other bird hides and access (including floating boardwalk and the four bird hides at the mudflat) will be opened again tomorrow.

However, as the sluice gates at the gei wai are severely damaged in the typhoon, the water level in the gei wai cannot be adjusted to the level that is suitable for the waterbirds at the moment. Please accept our apologies.

還未, 但大致上水位控制已回復正常。
