Can anyone recommend a good small size (hand held) not too expensive macro camera for close-ups of flowers and insects?

Panasonic Leica DG Macro-Elmarit 45mm/F2.8 ASPH Lens with MEGA OIS is an excellent lens for macro photos.  It can be fitted on Lumix GF or GX series camera body.
A CityU Professor used it for his macro photos of materials (he is materials expert) and the photos impressed the whole floor of EMSD audience.
