I went to Sabah with my family for 6 days and could spend very little time for bird watching.
These photos were took at Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai and Poring Hot Spring during one day tour to Mount Kinabalu).


今次總共去了6日沙巴，但影雀的時間不多，這些相是我花了約兩小時影到的。
我主要在Nexus Resort的範圍內、神山公園(Mount Kinablalu) Park)和波令溫泉(Poring Hot Spring)影的，始終跟local tour，無可能停下來影雀，
除了在波令溫泉那一個小時自由時間，我走開了約45分鐘，才可以影到多些雀相，但最開心是看到Banded Broadbill。

在Nexus Resort，Day 3
Olive-backed Sunbird
牠站在露台外，非常近，任影，不過被好多樹枝擋住。


Purple Sunbird



在神山公園(Mount Kinabalu), Day 5只影到一種雀，可能去的地方都很多人，加上無得停。
Chestnut Bulbul



在波令溫泉(Poring Hot Spring), Day 5
Crimson Sunbird


Green-tailed Sunbird


Orange-bellied Flowerpecker


Grey-chinned Minivet (not sure)


Banded Broadbill
最開心看到牠，紅色胸前無黑線是乸，隔離黃色是雛鳥。牠們站得很高，在波令溫泉的樹，真是十分高，一般都七八層樓高。



在Nexus Resort，Day 6
Black-headed Munia
牠們都很常見到


Asian Glossy Starling
在沙巴周圍都看到，也很噪。


初時以為與香港的鵲鴝一樣，但牠是肚是全黑的，還未知是否亞種，還是其他品種。


White-breasted Woodswallow
飛行時，有點像燕子，但時常站得很高，一群群的站著。


White-throated Fantail


? Sunbird (not sure)


Peaceful Dove
好common，原來牠的名好正！


Not wild, keeping inside Resort酒店內有鷄，真有趣。

Very nice birds and photos - I love birding in Sabah very much too, and there's always new surprises. I especially like your Banded Broadbills!

Just some suggestions with bird ID:
"Grey-chinned Minivet" --> Yellow-bellied Bulbul
"?Sunbird" --> Ruby-throated Sunbird
" Purple Sunbird" --> Brown-throated Sunbird
"Green-tailed Sunbird" --> Little Spiderhunter !! (Note the white lines above and below eye)
"White-throated Fantail" --> Pied Fantail (White-throated has a dark belly)
"Chestnut Bulbul" --> Chestnut-crested Yuhina -- a Bornean endemic!!

May I ask you ID of this bird?

With reference to Birds of Southeast Asia, I can only find Oriental Magpie Robin.
But this bird has black belly.

Nice trip and pictures.
I have a question how to do to post so much pictures in the same post? I'm always limited to 800 ko, so it means according to the resolution of your photo, it is a maximum of 4 pics per post. Could somebody explain to me? Thanks

Your Oriental Magpie Robin is of the subspecies "adamsi" that show black belly.

Otherwise, you may open an account at flickr.com or else to use the link function.
