This is an amazing record.

The previous earliest spring record for Oriental Cuckoo is 26th March in 2006, so it's the earliest by over five weeks. We usually have to wait until the first week in April for this bird.

I keep looking at it to be sure I can believe what I'm seeing.

Could you please at least direct us as to which end of the road the cuckoo was seen?  I will leave work early tomorrow to try and see it!
