is it Kentish Plover as I see no chestnut crown for hundreds of same Plovers nearby? at MaiPo , 10-Nov, thanks

Yes, a Kentish Plover. This is the commonest plover on the Mai Po mudflats in winter. Birds in winter plumage do not have the chestnut crown shown in breeding plumage, which is perhaps what has confused you.
