教育中心外面對著蝴蝶園方向的一幅薜荔牆於剛剛過去的星期六倒塌(見附圖),我們會將該倒塌部份剪除,以減低該部份對其他薜荔牆身的影響。倒塌有可能是因為過重以及底部攀附根老化以形成過度負荷,為此我們亦感到惋惜,但我們相信周邊的薜荔會很快重新生長以覆蓋該部分。如欲查詢進一步資料，請聯絡米埔自然保護區辦公室，電話：2471-6212。

Dear Birdwatchers/Photographers,

We are sorry to tell you that the Education Centre's Ficus pumila wall opposite to the Butterfly Garden was collapse last Saturday (see attached photo). We have to remove the collapsed portion so as to reduce the impact to the structure of the surrounding Ficus pumila wall. The reason of the collapse may due to overweight of the wall and the aging of adventitious roots at the bottom. We believe that the plant will regenerate soon and recolonize the area very soon.
