《野生動物保護條例》(第170章)
此條例保護所有鳥類。禁止狩獵所有鳥類,並不允許干擾、破壞和清除其巢和蛋。
設置陷阱捕捉野生鳥類屬違法。任何人違反本條例的規定,一經定罪,最高可被罰款港幣10萬元及監禁1年。

Wild Animals Protection Ordinance (Cap.170)
All birds are protected from being hunted, whilst their nests and eggs are protected from injury, destruction and removal. Setting up traps to catch wild birds violates this ordinance. Any person who contravenes the regulations of the Ordinance shall be liable on conviction to a maximum fine of HK$100,000 and to imprisonment for 1 year.

《保護瀕危動植物物種條例》(第586章)
本條例旨在施行《瀕臨絕種野生動植物國際貿易公約》,規管某些瀕危鳥類物種的交易和管有。本條例規定,凡進口、從公海引進、出口、再出口或管有列明物種的標本,不論屬活體的、死體的、其部分或衍生物(包括藥物),均須事先申領漁農自然護理署(本署)發出的許可證。法例亦指明在某些情況下准予進行列明物種的交易,而無需申領許可證。可於第2部《附錄》(第39頁)參閱本條例保護的鳥類名單。任何人違反本條例的規定,一經定罪,最高可被罰款港幣10萬元及監禁1年。

Protection of Endangered Species of Animals and Plants Ordinance (Cap.586)
This ordinance gives effect to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. It regulates the trade and possession of certain endangered birds. Under the Ordinance, the import, introduction from the sea, export, re-export or possession of a scheduled species specimens, whether in the living body, dead body, its parts or derivatives (including drugs), subject to the prior claims of Agriculture and Fisheries Conservation Department issued licenses. The law also allows under certain circumstances specified in the transaction scheduled species without a permit. Refer to Part 2 Appendices (page 35) for the list of birds protected under this ordinance. Any person who contravenes the regulations of the Ordinance shall be liable on conviction to a maximum fine of HK$100,000 and to imprisonment for 1 year.
