北極賊鷗Arctic Skua (Parasitic Skua, Parasitic jaeger) Stercorarius parasiticus
They are commonest skuas circumpolar in distribution, from well above 80。down to 57。N. We saw a pair of this species in the middle of the trip. They kept many of us entertained as they furiously guarded what appeared to be (seems to be)....nothing.
北極賊鷗廣佈於北整範圍亦是最常見的賊鷗，由北緯80度南下至57度都有牠們影踪。旅程中途剛巧遇上一對，牠們不時猛烈地飛來飛去，像在保護著領土或幼鳥，大家都在觀看牠們很久，但最終看不見什麼。
