Very happy to try out the old Nikon coolpix 4500 for digiscope. Despit its 4 mega pixels, a bit low from today's standard,  it still give a very sharp image. In addition, I found the glare control is better than the modern F31.  :cry:

        I've been using the 4500 again too and having fun with it. I spent some time digiscoping the snipe from the Deep Bay Hide at Mai Po. I used the Swaro zoom at 60x and a lot of camera zoom (16.9 mm or 81mm) for a total magnification of 4860 mm. Neil
