Not sure.  I searched for Chestnut Munia in Wikipedia, then changed language to Chinese, and from that web site (https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E ... D%E6%96%87%E9%B3%A5 ), seems both names are used.

栗腹與黑頭同是形容此鳥的特徵。

據《香港及華南鳥類》：黑頭文鳥是 Tricoloured Munia, 如果改譯為三色文鳥可能不會與 Chestnut Munia 混淆。

另外，xeno-canto.org (https://www.xeno-canto.org/explore/taxonomy?g=Lonchura)與及 IUCN Red List Page (https://www.iucnredlist.org/species/22729138/95007301) 就只有 Chestnut Munia, 而沒有 Black-headed Munia, 大有可能 栗腹文鳥 是正名，黑頭文鳥 是別名。

Interesting!  If we search tricoloured munia in wikipedia, it goes to this web page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tricoloured_munia and if we change the language to Chinese, it goes to this web page: https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E ... %E6%96%87%E9%B8%9F.

According to wikipedia,
黑頭文鳥 is Lonchura atricapilla, Chestnut munia
栗腹文鳥 is Lonchura malacca, Tricoloured munia
The ones shown in my photos should be Lonchura atricapilla, chestnut munia 黑頭文鳥 and not 栗腹文鳥.
