Common Redshank

XT was ringed on 15-Nov-23 as adult. It was recorded 5 times at Nam Sang Wai, 1st record from Mai Po. This bird is carrying a GPS tracker. The track show it bred in east Russia near Sakhalin Island last summer.

YD was ringed on 14-Jan-24 as adult. It was recorded 2 times at Mai Po in Apr and Dec 2024. It is also carrying a GPS tracker and bred in Inner Mongolia last summer.

PJ was ringed on 2-Sep-22 as a 1st winter bird. It was recorded at Mai Po and Shenzhen Futian 9 times. 1st report for this 2024-25 season.

ZE was ringed on 1-Nov-24 as adult. This is the 3rd report.

WA was ringed on 26-Nov-22 as 1st winter bird. It was only recorded once at Nam Sang Wai on 14-Dec-24. This is 2nd record.

WT was also ringed on 26-Nov-22 as adult. It was recorded 6 times in Mai Po, Tsim Bei Tsui and Shenzhen. This is the 1st record for this season.

MY was ringed on 4-Mar-22 as adult. It was recorded 29 times at Mai Po and Shenzhen Futian.

ZL was ringed on 1-Nov-24 as 1st winter bird. This is the 1st record.

Z4 was ringed on 20-Sep-20 as 1st winter bird. Recorded 52 times at Mai Po!

NT was ringed on 29-Apr-22 as adult. It was recorded 8 times at Mai Po and Shenzhen Futian. Last seen on 28-Nov-23, so this is good news that it is still well and alive.

YE was ringed on 14-Jan-24 as adult. It was recorded 7 times at Mai Po. Most records from you.

ZU was just newly ringed on 3-Jan-25 as adult. This is the 1st record.

Pied Avocet

N0, N4 and M8 were all ringed on 14-Jan-24 as adult. This is the 1st record of them.

C4 was ringed on 25-Jan-23 as 1st winter bird. It was recorded 2 times in Jan-23. Good news that it returns to Mai Po again.

Black-tailed Godwit

D2 was ringed on 15-Nov-23 as adult. It was recorded 15 times in Mai Po and Shenzhen. It is carrying a GPS tracker which show that it bred in Russia las summer.

E4 was ringed on 5-Oct-24 as 1st winter bird. This is the 2nd record.

U8 was ringed on 2-Dec-2016 as 1st winter bird. 77 records from Mai Po and Shenzhen over the past 8 years.
