membership card
Just received the membership card 2025.
May I suggest the implementation of e-membership cards for HKBWS in the coming years. Transitioning to digital cards could streamline membership management, reduce printing costs & postal costs, and enhance convenience for the members.
E-membership cards can be easily accessed on smartphones, making them readily available during birdwatching events and meetings. Additionally, many other parties have successfully gone electronic (e.g. WWF membership card or Board-walk Permit), highlighting a growing trend that our society could benefit from. This move would also align with eco-friendly practices by minimizing paper use.
