Very nice pictures - especially the ground shot.

Nice shots, Daniel.
I share the view of Andrew. I like the ground shot.
Will it be better if the crop is not too tight for those shots in flight.

Thanks Andrew and CWChan,

Yes, I notice that I always show the picture object a bit tight because I intend to show more details in a limited size (<750 pixels of long side) required by many forum. I am not sure whether this limit can be released as I believe many PC users have adjusted their minimum reolution at 1024 x 768 nowadays. I love the photo in larger side so as to view more details.

I am glad to know that you like the bird at round while raptor inflight is my most favorite shots.

Cheers
Daniel

Just terrific. With distance from the kite brought to such a point-blank range, I was like scratching their feathers as I scrolled the images down the screen. From the point of view of visual impact created thus far, the crop here is alright to me.  Peter

Dear Daniel,

I really love the first shot, simply spectacular!

Have you ever considered having a 5x7 or 8x10 crop? Or you would only do 4x6?

Anyway, I enjoy this flight shot a lot!

Happy birding,
fkm

Seem to be 1st year bird.  There were perfect primaries, and tail with very shallow fork.  It also have very different (worn?) covert, but primary coverts were new.

The shot is originally in landscape mode. The bird almost occupies the whole frame. I have just cropped out the left and right side to make it in portrait mode.

Thanks for comment, chairman. I saw you that early morning that you might be ringing bird in education center.

Last night I print 2 shots in A3 size. The perfect condition of its primaries and others look amazaing, especially the pattern its shown.
