It depends how expansive is expansive. Take Bushnell, if U can get the scope in the States. it's half of what U normally pay in HK, I am talking about a price range between US$69-210, and that in my opinion is not expansive. And those models are waterproof.
I don't want to spend tens of thousands on eqt. either, I believe if U know where to look, U'll find some good mid range eqt. that will produce the same results as the expansive ones.
