This morning I observed a flagged Black-winged Stilt on fishponds close to Mai Po. The flag combination was White over Blue on the right tibia; I understand that this combination indicates that the bird was flagged in Taiwan. As far as I know, this is the first overseas-flagged Black-winged Stilt observed in Hong Kong.
