首屆迷你觀鳥賽 First Mini Race
香港觀鳥大賽是世界自然基金會一年一度的慈善籌款項目，旨在推廣觀鳥活動。比賽隊伍需在24時內盡量記錄鳥類品種的數目。多年來，觀鳥大賽為管理和保育米埔籌募必要經費，部份善款更將撥作進行有關候鳥的研究，以期造福雀鳥及人類。
為了讓大眾體驗觀鳥的樂趣，本會將於2007年3月11日舉行首屆迷你觀鳥賽。參賽隊伍的目標是要於4小時的比賽時段內盡量記錄鳥類品種。
日期：2007年3月11日 (星期日)
地點：米埔自然保護區
比賽時段：上午8時 - 中午12時
免費基礎觀鳥工作坊：2007年3月4日 (星期日)

Big Bird Race (BBR) is an annual charity and fundraising event organized by WWF Hong Kong that aims to promote birdwatching activity. Teams of birdwatchers try to record as many wild bird species as possible during a 24-hour period. Over the years, the BBR is crucial in raising funds for the management and maintenance of Mai Po and a percentage of the raised funds will be dedicated to carry out important research on migratory birds for the benefits of birds and people.
In order to promote public interests in birdwatching as a wholesome hobby, WWF will introduce a fund-raising event, Mini-race on March 11, 2007.

Location: Mai Po Nature Reserve
Duration: 0800 – 1200
Workshop: March 4, 2007 (Sunday)
* Participating teams have to solicit for the minimum sponsorship amount
