ID please - Is it a Northern Hawk Cuckoo or Hodgson's Hawk Cuckoo?  Thank you.

Sorry for the poor quality of the photo, and there is no photo of the front.  It was taken on Potoi Island on 6 May 2014.

At this time of year, you should assume it is a Hodgson's Hawk Cuckoo.

Northern Hawk Cuckoo has never been officially recorded in Hong Kong in spring, three records are accepted between 29 September to 27 October.
