Post-Mangkhut Surprise

Post-Mangkhut Surprise

It was such a surprise to find a flock of 40+ terns in the Rambler Channel between Tsing Yi & Tsuen Wan in Sep 17 after Typhoon Mangkhut hit HKG.

Among them, White-winged, Bridled & Common Terns were identified while others need help on ID.

The photos mostly look like Whiskered, except for the obvious Bridled in photo 2.
I passed Rambler Channel on an airport bus on 17th, and noticed terns there. Also Bridled Terns passing under the bridge between Ma Wan and Lantau.

Thanks John for the ID
