Notice from Hong Kong Bird Watching Society
FIFTH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of The Hong Kong Bird Watching Society Limited (“the Society”) will be held at  7:00 p.m.  on  Wednesday, 19th September 2007 at the Conference Hall, Hong Kong Observatory, 134A Nathan Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong (note: no entry from Observatory Road).  The agenda is as follows:

1.        Confirmation of the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting
2.        Report of the Board of Directors on the activities of the Society (Chairman)
3.        Report on the finance of the Society (Hon. Treasurer)
4.        Report on the birds (Hon. Recorder)
5.        Election of the Board of Directors
(According to the Articles of Association, members wishing to submit nominations are invited to do so in writing so as to reach Hon. Secretary 72 hours before the commencement of the Annual General Meeting.)
6.        Appointment of the auditor of the Society
7.        Nomination of the Executive Committee
(According to the Articles of Association, the Executive Committee is appointed by the Board of Directors.  The Board will present its nominations and seek the views of the Annual General Meeting.)
8.        Discussion on the future directions of the Society
(Members are welcomed to submit written comments and/or questions to Hon. Secretary before the AGM.)
9.        Any other business

    謹此通告香港觀鳥會有限公司(“本會”) 本年度的週年會員大會定於2007年9月19日(星期三)下午7時正，假座香港天文台會議廳舉行，地址是九龍尖沙咀彌敦道134A香港天文台(注意：不能從天文台道進入)。議程如下：

1.        通過上次會員大會會議紀錄
2.        董事會會務報告(主席)
3.        財政報告(義務司庫)
4.        鳥類報告(義務紀錄主任)
5.        董事會選舉
[根據本會章程，會員若有提名請於大會開始時間72 小時前以書面通知本會義務秘書。]
6.        委任義務核數師
7.        執行委員會提名
[根據本會章程，執行委員會由董事會委任，董事會將向大會提交提名名單及徵求大會意見。]
8.        討論本會的未來動向
[歡迎會員於大會開始前以書面向本會義務秘書提出意見或提問。]
9.        其他事項
