Please help to identify 3 Warblers. All were taken on the same day at different location.

Thanks in advance.

The first Warbler -- Is Greenish Warbler???

The second Warbler

The third Warbler

The first bird is a classic Greenish Warbler. The lower mandible of the bill is all-yellow (which excludes Arctic Warbler, and the tertials are all-green (which excludes Yellow-browed Warbler).

It also has greyish legs. The race of Greenish Warbler we get in HK is plumbeitarsus, which means "lead-coloured legs".

The second bird is an Arctic Warbler. You can see a dark shadow on the lower mandible, and the bill is longer and stronger-looking than on Greenish.  You can just see a toe and a knee - which are both yellow.

You may also have noticed in the field that Arctic is larger and clumsier than Greenish.

The third bird is either Pale-legged or Sakhalin Leaf Warbler. Nobody knows how to identify them in the field, so only trapped birds can be seperated.

You can tell this from other leaf warblers by the darker bronzy-green back, the pale pinkish legs and the pale tip to the bill. It often pumps its tail up and down.
