This evening I was very excited to watch a flock of BFS (7 nos) flying over LV & circled for a while before landing
behind some trees. This is my 1st time seeing BFS at LV!
今天傍晚,看見一群黑臉琵鷺(7隻)從遠處飛至塱原上空,盤旋一會,然後降落在樹叢後.因是首次在塱原看見黑琵，所以十分興奮.

謝謝你的報告!!
自從塱原項目在08年底首次進行魚塘放水晒塘的管理後，第一次在塱原錄得黑臉琵鷺的蹤跡。09年我們再接再勵，在魚塘放水這段時間，我們最高一共錄得9隻黑臉琵鷺在魚塘覓食，實在令人興奮。希望各位鳥友及攝影者繼續報告有關塱原的鳥況，好讓我們有最全面的數據。謝謝!

Since the first fishpond drainage after our management held in winter 2008, BFS was first recorded in LV. In 2009, we carried out another drainage and this time we have recorded the highest number of BFS, 9 in total, in LV! We sincerely encourage birders and photographers keep reporting the birds in LV so that we can collect more complete data. Thank you very much!

one more BFS at Long Valley today. Seems it flew from somewhere inside Long Valley, turned around in the sky for a while and went towards north.
