This is an amazing record.

The previous earliest spring record for Oriental Cuckoo is 26th March in 2006, so it's the earliest by over five weeks. We usually have to wait until the first week in April for this bird.

I keep looking at it to be sure I can believe what I'm seeing.

Thanks Geoff, the bird appeared again at the same place around 16:00 Today (Feb 21).
