This is a Red-billed Starling with abnormal coloration. Note that the structure and pattern (but not colour) match the adjacent typical birds.
I have seen this individual around the Deep Bay area on a few occasions this winter. I don't know the reason for this strange colour - maybe staining from an external source? Author: ydominic Time: 24/02/2010 23:03
