Pheasant-tailed Jacanas 水雉
I am interested to know why short-tailed Pheasant-tailed Jacanas have conspicuous yellow irides but long-tailed ones do not have. This feature is shown in all my photos of Pheasant-tailed Jacana although taken at different places.
The following photos of long-tailed and short-tailed Pheasant-tailed Jacanas were taken at the same place with afternoon sunlight.
