Note that these are female Grey-backed Thrushes. Males would be plain grey above and on the throat/breast

I was just wondering if the bird in frankie's photos is a 1st-winter male Grey-backed Thrush?

I agree with first winter male: grey upperparts indicate male, brownish primaries indicate first winter (plus, of course, the streaks on the breast).
