This is a first-winter Heuglin's Gull. The extensive mid grey feathers on the mantle, scapulars and coverts is typical of this species, and is not something shown by Yellow-legged Gull. Further, at this time of the year, first-winter mongolicus is usually much whiter on the head and underparts.
