Subject: [Oversea] Birds in Danum Valley [Print This Page] Author: kkoel Time: 9/04/2010 20:32 Subject: Birds in Danum Valley
Our family stayed at the Borneo Rainforest Lodge, Danum Valley for only 4 nights, but we are quite lucky to bump into the Bristlehead, 6 Hornbills, 13 raptors and a collection of other goodies, adding up to around 110 species in total. With most birds in trees up to 40m tall, it wasn't always easy to get photos; but the birdwatching part was definitely very exciting! For family birders, great food and impeccable service at the lodge should be a real appeal!

Thanks everyone for your comments!!! =)
Here are some feline photos - the Marbled Cat was miles away but stayed for a long time, and the Leopard Cat was really close, but disappeared as a flash of gold as I stole this single shot.
