Had this interesting pipit at Pui O on Saturday. What made me notice it was the very bright reddish-brown ear coverts which I don't associate with Richard's Pipit. Maybe it is a bright Richard's Pipit but I am wondering about Paddyfield Pipit. I guess it comes down to bill size because the length of the tail is obscured. Any thoughts?
