Activity Information
Details of the Sha Lo Tung and Fung Yuen Outing to be held on 19 December 2010 as below:

Date: 19/12/2010 Sunday
Gathering place: 08:00 Taxi Station next to Tai Po Market MTR Station
Time: 8:00 - 12:00
Leaders: Dr. Cheng Ho Fai
Target Species: Wintering forest and farmland birds

Free of Charge for all members.
HK$30 for non-member.

It is going to be a cold outing this coming Sunday. We will see how the cold weather affect the birds in Fung Yuen. For your reference, you may see the bird list of last year. This time, we will concentrated on Fung Yuen, and skip Sha Lo Tung totally.

About 50 joined the outing on Sunday, and it is an excellent day for a walk, with bright sunlight, temperature not cold, and light breeze. The best birds are a perching Crested Serpent Eagle and a pair of Scarlet Minivets.
Thanks to the grade-6 student (On Chai) and Christina For help.
