This bird looks very much like a Eurasian Skylark I saw at Long Valley on December 9th - I was wondering if this could be the same bird. That bird (like this one) had very abraded feathers. It also had a damaged left leg and was very approachable. All of which suggests it was an ex-captive bird.

I also saw the bird near a pond opposite to Shek Sheung River in Long Valley on 21 November 2010. However, that bird was walking quickly as an normal bird and disappeared in the grass.
