Many resident species start singing but there was just very few migrants. Highlights are:

8 Black Bulbuls (4 white-head, 4 black-head) in Outdoor study centre
and the Bull-headed Shrike at orchard.

Bull-headed Shrike
Black Bulbul x 6
Asian Stubtail Warbler x 2
Blue Magpie x 2 (unusual in TPK)
Chestnut-winged Cuckoo (probably the first call in this year)

Birds begin to pair up; warblers singing all around and the Grey-headed Flycatchers disappear!

My wood-pecking sound mystery has finally unraveled when I saw a woodpecking Nuthatcher! It explains why woodpecking sound are sometimes heard in bird wave but no woodpecker was found.
