Oh! I used to live in that area and I still miss the birds there!
I wish you may be able to find Chestnut-winged Cuckoo there because I heard it every year but still could not see it.

Fa Sum Hang can be reached by both driving and public transportation. By driving, you shall drive along Kwong Sin Street (Siu Lek Yuen, Shatin) and then Hang Shin Link (adjacent to Hang Seng School of Commerce). There are some roadside space at the end of Hang Shin Link for parking.
For public transporation, you may take KMB 82X, 83X, 82M, 82S, 281A, 49X, 83K and 86.

I think you should well prepared for mosquitoes in this season. I wore long sleeves shirt and glove but mosquitoes still bit my hand and arm. In addition, you may prepare for being disturbed since a lot of hikers, farmers of illegal farming and children would visit and pass through the area. Others are similar to Tai Po Kau.
