I've recently moved to Kennedy Town and have been spending time on Mount Davis Path. I've seen some fabulous birds. I don't have a sophisticated camera to provide photos, unless the bird is within a couple of meters.
Emerald Dove - one - seen on two different occasions in similar area
Black Bulbul - one
Streak breasted scimitar babblers - small flock
I'm often in the area near dusk and there are many birds calling. Is anyone else birding in this area? It would be great to have another set of eyes and ears. I'm not good with the calls for birds at dusk. I haven't heard any owls or nightjars.
Update:
Emerald Dove is still in the area 23 Jan 11. And also saw the Asian Stubtail Warbler.
