Yes, you're right, this is a male Eurasian Siskin.
Would you mind telling the place and time when you saw it? Thank you so much.

I also have a photo of a bird which was suspected as the same species. Pls ID. It was taken in Kakoorie Farm & Botanic Garden on 26/1/2011.
